San Francisco: Andy Rubin’s Essential Phone, which went on sale a few months ago, received a $ 200 permanent price reduction.

The media said lower prices could help the company seduce customers who could have watched Apple’s iPhone X, which went on sale on Nov. 3.

“We want to make your life easier with our products and our brand,” the company said in a blog post.

“And to thank our first fans who already have an Essential phone, we are offering a $ 200 friend and family code to use on our website to Essential 360 Camera or another Essential Phone,” the blog adds.

Essential Phone sports a 5.7-inch LTPS display with a 19:10 aspect ratio instead of 16: 9.

The phone has an edge-to-edge display and a modular system that allows users to attach accessories such as a 360-degree camera.

It has two primary cameras with two 13MP sensors. One is a standard RGB sensor while the other is monochrome.

The phone is made of titanium and has a ceramic back which gives it extra protection in the event of a fall.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 2.45 GHz chipset with an Adreno 540 GPU.

It has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of non-expandable internal memory.

With the phone, Essential is also developing a smart home hub
